iTunes Not Working in Vista?

If you're running Windows Vista, you may have noticed that the songs you have purchased from Apple's iTunes store have stopped working. But don't panic: Apple has released an iTunes Repair Tool for Vista that will solve all your woes.

In the meantime, if you haven't upgraded yet, you may want to look over Apple's list of instructions for users after they've migrated from Windows XP or 2000 to Vista:
  1. Deauthorize all iTunes Store accounts.
  2. Enable Disk Use on all iPod models.
  3. Uninstall iTunes.
  4. Perform a clean install of Windows Vista (Highly recommended but not required).
  5. Reinstall the latest version of iTunes.
  6. Open iTunes.
  7. Choose Authorize Computer from the Store menu in iTunes.
If you're willing to wait, a new version of iTunes will be released in the next few weeks that won't suffer from the same problem.
